A strong movement against sexual abuse and casting couch in Bollywood has become #MeToo. Some female filmmakers have also come together to support this movement. The first name of these filmmakers is Nandita Das . But now Nandita Das’s father famous painter Jatin Das has been accused of sexual harassment.

Try to force in the studio
Nisha told about the painful incident, Jatin Das had asked me to work as an assistant for a few days during the first meeting. I was his fan and got ready for this work. For the first time, our meeting took place at his home in Delhi, where it was normal. But when I went to meet him in the studio for the second time, then Jatin Das tried to force himself.
Nisha said, his studio was made in the window village. There he made a leg for himself, offered me, then I refused to take it. They forcefully tried to catch me. When they wanted to remove themselves, they tried again. What they wanted to do to me, the hair of their beard felt on my face. I pushed them out loud and then they started saying that, wait, you will feel better.
Nisha said, after this incident, Nandita’s phone came to me, my number got her with her father Jatin Das. Nandita Das called up and told that she wants to keep me as an assistant. He praised me very much, but on that day all the things of Nandita Das was like running knives in me. Nisha said, I am very happy with this movement. This has given me the courage too, so I can speak for the first time about the accident that I had with him today.
After the big names like Nana Patekar and Sajid Khan came out in the past, many female filmmakers (Nandita Das, Meghna Gulzar, Alankrita Shrivastava, Konkona Sen Sharma, Gaur Shinde, Nitya Mehra, Reema Kagti, Zoya Akhtar, Ruchi Narain, Sonali Bose And Kiran Rao) have decided that they will never work with any artist who is guilty of sexual abuse.
